The general team recruit for a wide range of vacancies across the county including:

Temporary Care Team
The temporary care vacancies cover a wide range of roles across Children's, Schools and Families as well as Adult Care Services.
General Social Care Council (GSCC) will, as part of the UK-wide registration of care workers, be requiring all care workers to register with them thus enabling them to work. Manpower is offering you a recognised induction training to start you on your way. Backing this up is the ongoing practical programme accompanying not only the induction but other key elements of your role.
Within
Adult Care Services we recruit for:
- Qualified Social Workers
- Community Care Workers
- Mental Health Outreach Worker
- Residential Support Worker for adults with learning disabilities
- Day Care Support Workers
Within
Childrens, Schools and Families we recruit for
- Qualified Social Workers
- Social Work Assistant
- Children's Residential Workers for both challenging behaviour and children with disabilities
- Youth Workers
- Supervised Contact Workers
Temporary posts usual fall into 2 types, those that are 3-month bookings and those that are on a shift-by-shift basis.
