Due to the expansion of our three Area Teams we have a number of vacancies for Assistant Team Managers within Apsley and Stevenage, a progressive and award winning council offering easy commuting from both London (as little as 24 minutes to Hemel Hempstead) and surrounding Counties.

Our teams offer different specialisms and challenges:

• Assessment - complete initial and Core Assessments including Child Protection enquiries.
• Locality - focus on long term intervention for Children in Need, including those on the Child Protection Register or in court proceedings.
• Children Looked After - concentrate on providing good planning and support to young people who need long term placement outside the family home or adoption.
