Working as an Occupational Therapist in the Adult Care Services Department you will be involved in a number of tasks.

Skills and Abilities
To assess the needs of people referred from the community and take appropriate actions to meet this need.
To assist and provide advice to carers.
To work closely with other agencies within the community, both statutory and voluntary.
To maintain accurate and up to date knowledge of skills and resources by training and supervision.
To advise management of the needs and resources within the community.
Experience
Experience of working in a care environment
Experience of using computerised information systems
Knowledge
Knowledge of the legislation and practise guidance relevant to the care group.
Qualification
We require a DipC.O.T. CQSW or other equivalent qualification for this post.
