Libraries, Heritage and Arts consists of Public Libraries in all areas of the County, Mobile Libraries that cover the rural districts, and Archives and Local Studies. We offer a wide range of services for the whole community.
We employ over 700 people in a wide range of jobs, including Library and Counter Assistants and Library Assistant/Drivers where no previous library experience is necessary, and Librarian posts where a professional qualification is required. Library Assistant and Library Counter Assistant vacancies arise frequently in all districts of the County. We have full time, part time and also weekend and evening opportunities.
