The key components of the two year scheme include:
• A starting salary of £22,221pa plus appropriate location allowance;
• Sponsorship for an MSc in Public Service Management at the University of Birmingham;
• Four six month strategic and operational placements with the main service areas of the County Council.
• Attendance on the Hertfordshire Top Performance Leadership Programme.
• Mentoring by a Chief Officer.
• A Buddy from the recent graduates.
• Membership of SOLACE (Society of Local Authority Chief Executives)
• Six monthly performance and salary reviews.
