To prepare, cook and serve food as instructed by the Catering Manager in a secondary school.
Duties include:
To undertake any occasional special, emergency or function catering
Accurate cash handling
Work within and understand health & safety guidelines and hygiene regulations
Assist with cleaning tasks including general washing up
To complete any paperwork as required
Deputise in the absence of the Catering Manager
Skills & Abilities
The ability to organise tasks; lead & motivate staff; communicate to customers and staff on all levels; work as part of a team; cook to the required standard and complete accurate records.
This position is also available on a mobile basis where you will be required to use your own transport in order to provide cover in a range of schools in a defined area of Hertfordshire.
