For people with appointments to visit our main County Council office bases: County Hall, New Barnfield, Mount Pleasant, and Wheathampstead, you can find printer friendly maps and directions too.
For out of office hours/emergencies concerning the welfare of an adult or a child, you can use the telephone numbers for Adult Care Services and Childrens, Schools and families from the 'Contact Us' page. All other out of office hours/ emergency numbers can be found under the Emergencies header.

Emergency and out of office hours contact numbers for the Adult Care Services and Children, Schools and Families departments are listed.
Full contact details for Fire stations, local Police Stations, Hospitals with Accident and Emergency units and local Hertfordshire Hospitals are all listed with advice as to when 999 should be called.
Utility services Gas and Electricity have their emergency numbers listed, and the contact number for Floodline provides information about flooding.
In the event of a major incident happening in Hertfordshire, or directly affecting Hertfordshire residents e.g. bomb, air, rail or road crash, helpline numbers and any other news announcements would appear under the Emergencies link.
