Getting Involved

Please see below a survey from the Hertfordshire Local Involvement Network (LINk) which will only take a few minutes to fill in; we would be really grateful if you could find the time. Please return the questionnaire to link.feedback@hertscc.gov.uk

The Transitional LINk Board is keen to engage the community in setting its initial priorities. The survey gives you the opportunity (as an individual or representative of a community group) to tell us about the things that matter to you (or your group). The LINk is keen to support local groups in getting heard by the NHS and Social Care providers, so we may be able to help you with issues you are already working on. Where issues have county-wide implications, and particularly issues around commissioning and planning of services, the LINk will be able to help you access information and advice and network with other organisations. The LINk can also refer very important issues to the County Council's Health Scrutiny Committee which, if necessary, can refer issues to the secretary of State for Health.

We are particularly keen to get help from you in reaching groups in your community who may traditionally have not had a voice in consultations run by Health and Social Care Services. If you need assistance please come back to us and tell us how we can make it work for you/your group.

Please return the survey by Friday 22nd August 2008, so that we can use the findings as quickly as possible to influence our future plans. Comments received after this date will still be used and useful, but will not have such an immediate impact.
