The Eastern Region is comprised of the 56 Parliamentary constituencies in the counties of Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, Suffolk and Essex together with the unitary authorities of Luton, Peterborough, Southend-on-Sea and Thurrock.

Richard Howitt is one of seven MEP's for the Eastern Region.
Re-elected June 2004.
