Publication of the CSF Counselling Support Strategy 2004-2007 (Archived Consultation)

The CSF Counselling Support Strategy 2004 - 2007 was published in September 2004. Thank you to all those that took part in the consulation.

'The County already has well developed Child and Family Clinics and voluntary counselling that offer professional counselling,' explained Jan Moore, the CSF Counselling Manager. 'However, there are increasing demands for support from schools, families, children and young people and this is why we needed to develop new ways of meeting those demands.'

'The new strategy is about developing high quality counselling services for children and young people aged 7-19 that build on local and national developments in counselling,' says Jan.

The counselling service also offers children and young people the opportunity to access one to one confidential counselling with qualified counsellors in school settings.
