Consultation on the Hatfield Review of Primary School Places, September 2006

Hatfield Primary Review

The public consultation closed on 4 December 2006.

The School Organisation Committee met on 29 March 2007 and agreed the closure of Stream Woods and New Briars Primary Schools and the establishment of a new 1FE primary school and nursery on the Stream Woods site from 01 September 2007.

As there were no objections to the proposals relating to Howe Dell Primary School, the Director of CSF agrees the following proposal:

increase the admission number at Howe Dell Primary School from 30 to 60 from 01 September 2007,

add a 60 part time place nursery class from 01 September 2007, lowering the age range of the school to 3 to 11 years, and

enlarge the school premises, increasing the capacity of Howe Dell Primary School to 450 (including 30 FTE nursery places from 01 September 2007.
