Hearing from older people

Discussion Points is a document to accompany the Not on their way out DVD.

Hertfordshire County Council worked in partnership with Age Concern and a group of interested older people to make the DVD. The title was suggested by one of the contributors.

The DVD is designed to be used by managers and trainers across the county council to ensure that older people are treated respectfully, that their particular needs around communication etc are addressed in line with the Disability Equality Duty and the Corporate Customer Care Standards.

Before showing it you should identify which material is most useful to your training context/service. The discussion pack to accompany the DVD is below.
