Travel survey 2005

The Hertfordshire County Travel Survey 2005 is a questionnaire survey designed to seek information regarding Hertfordshire residents travel behaviour and attitudes. Carried out in October 2005 it is the third survey conducted in the county, previous surveys were undertaken in 1999 and 2002.

A total of 19,000 questionnaires were sent to a representative sample of households across all ten districts in the county. Over 4,500 were returned representing a response rate of 24% which allows analysis down to a district survey level.
