How do I get permission to work on the highway?

You will need to book road space to allow your development to proceed. In certain circumstances Traffic Regulation Orders (TRO's) may be required.You should allow at least 12 weeks for the TRO process. It is not possible to reduce this timescale as it is constrained by publication periods, statutory objection periods, confirming and sealing the order. If the scheme is contentious then this timescale may extend.
