What is the difference between a development and a vehicle crossover (dropped kerb)?
If the access is to your own private house and for your use only then this is dealt with through a process known as the Vehicle Crossover Procedure that can be found though the link below.If you have disposed of part of your garden and a new house will be built on the land or, if you are converting your house into shared accommodation and need a new or modified access, this will be classified as a development and you will need to follow the development control process.
