Working for the County Council as a transport contractor

Thank you for your interest in working for the County Council as a transport contractor.

Notification of all tender opportunities is made electronically, either via the County Council’s website or by email.

There are two ways of registering your interest in receiving notification about tender opportunities.

• If you are interested in tendering for local bus and mainstream school coach contracts, you can register to receive automatic email notification alerts about these tenders. Simply follow the "register for email alerts" link below, click on the “email bulletins” link in the grey box on the right-hand side and follow the instructions. You should ask to receive notification about transport contracts and tenders, as well as any other areas in which you may be interested. You will need to provide an email address to which your alerts can be sent and you can update your contact details or unsubscribe from the service at any time. Full details of tenders will be published on the website and you will be able to print off tender forms which you can complete and return to us, either by post or by hand.
  
• If you are interested in tendering for special needs and taxi transport contracts, which we often need to set up at short notice, you can register to be included on our email tender list. Please read the “Contract Specification” document below which sets out the quality of service we expect our contractors to provide, then print off the registration form, complete it and return it to us at the following address: Passenger Transport Unit, PO Box 99, County Hall, Hertford, SG13 8TJ. You will need to provide an email address to which we can send details of tenders that become available and you will need to submit your tenders by email. You should let us know if you change your email address at any time or if you no longer wish to receive emails from us.
