Gazetteer of Hertfordshire roads

Hertfordshire County Council is required to keep an up to date list of maintained streets (Part II - Highways Act 1980), and make it available for inspection. This list is referred to as the gazetteer.

The gazetteer contains roads, footpaths and cyclepaths within Hertfordshire, recorded for highway management purposes. It includes many private streets as well as those managed by Hertfordshire County Council. It is regularly modified as new information is received, such as new developments and highway adoptions.
