Please note that the information in the pages below relates to only the types of planning applications that are determined by the County Council. These include planning applications for minerals & waste development and applications related to county council services (see "What is a Planning Application?" below). All other applications are the responsibility of the District/Borough Council and so, for information on how you find out about those applications and to make your views known on them, you should contact the relevant District/Borough by following the link entitled 'Planning applications (district and borough councils) under 'Also on hertsdirect'.
