The Core Strategy and Development Policies document contains our overarching vision, objectives and strategic policies for waste planning in Hertfordshire

It also sets out the specific policies needed to ensure that the development and operation of waste management facilities reflects our strategic objectives. The document sets out a number of general policies that clearly define the circumstances in which planning permission will, or will not, be granted.

These policies will be taken into account when considering the waste development ‘operational’ elements of existing sites, sites already allocated and new site proposals.

We have not yet finalised our policies and need to know what you think about our draft document. If you want us to change the document, please be as specific as possible about what you want changed and why.
