Local Agenda 21 Community Awards

Each year the Council helps 40-50 community groups do their bit to improve the quality of life in Hertfordshire with grants of up to £250.

34 groups received grant money in March 2004. The grant scheme is run once a year and application forms for the next round of grants will be available from September 2004. Anyone involved in a voluntary group project aiming to improve the local environment can apply. More details about applying for funding are available.
What is the funding for?

The Local Agenda 21 Community Awards are to help overcome financial hurdles in projects organised by community groups to improve their local environment and quality of life.
