There are 30-40 significant open access sites in Hertfordshire. The best of these are described below together with information about how to get there and where to go for further information. In almost all the cases the sites are owned and managed by an organisation other than the County Council.
For those who are interested in any of the sites that are open access a spreadsheet has now been added below that provides some basic information such as size, location, ownership (where public).
