Fly tipping in the East of England 2005

Fly tipped The Hertfordshire Rural Forum's rural crime action group undertook a piece of research, following on from the success of the regional fly tipping conference, to better understand the extent and nature of fly tipping in the East of England. The research was part funded by the East of England Development Agency and sought the views of over 10,000 members of the National Farmers Union and the Country Land & Business Association. The final report can be downloaded below along with a powerpoint presentation detailing the primary findings.

For further information on national initiatives relating to fly tipping the Department of the Environment Food and Rural Affairs has a good website.

Further information on this research and other rural projects in Hertfordshire can be obtained from the Rural Forum secretariat on 01992 555291.
