Hertfordshire Rural Crime Seminar

The seminar, which was organised by Hertfordshire Constabulary and the Herts Rural Forum, took place to explore issues relating to rural crime. It follows on from a series of annual meetings held by both the police and the Rural Forum in recent years but was the first time that the event had been held jointly.

Neighbourhood policing, rogue traders and distraction burglary, domestic violence and environmental crime were some of the issues on the agenda. The event was attended by around 50 delegates who represented the police, rural communities, landowners and other local agencies.

The attachments below include a delegates list, press release and notes of the discussions.
