Funding

The Rural Forum has secured funding for rural projects in Hertfordshire through its Rural Innovation Strategy (see link on previous page). The funding comes from the East of England Development Agency (EEDA) and is allocated by the rural forum using a few simple criteria.

Every year (usually in the autumn) the rural forum seeks expressions of interest for new projects and invites those successful to complete a full application form. Copies of these forms and the current guidelines are included below.

  • Prospectus is a simple guide for potential applicants.
  • Expression of interest form is the first form that is required. Expressions of interest for funding in 2005/06 are acceptable up until Christmas 2004.
  • Applicants should only complete the full application after an expression of interest has been approved.
  • Guidance notes refer to the full application form.

For any further information or to discuss a proposal prior to completing an expression of interest, please contact the Rural Forum secretariat on 01992 555262.
