School and Organised Visits - information and charges

How to arrange a visit to Aldenham Country Park for your school or group

School and Group visits by coach, bus or minibus are by appointment only in order to accommodate high usage of the Park particularly in the summer.
There is plenty to do and see at the Park such as the Rare Breeds Farm which includes pigs, goats and sheep. There is also Winnie the Pooh's 100 Aker Wood, Nature Trails and the lake and its waterfowl.
We also have joint visits with Three Valleys Water's Environmental Centre at Clay Lane in Bushey. See www.3valleys.co.uk/education/sites_bushey.shtml
For further details please contact us at the number below.

Charges for School and Organised Visits are as follows:
  • Coach, Bus and minibus visits - £1 per child or visitor (teachers and supervisors are free)
  • Classroom Hire including adjacent toilets, washing facilities and cloakroom (holds 30 children) - £25 for the day. Please note that due to high demand for the use of our classroom and taking into account that we can only hire it to one school per day, if the classroom is not used, for any reason, the £25.00 charge is still applicable.

  • All fees are payable on the day by cash or cheque payable to Hertfordshire County Council

Please contact the Park Office on 020 8953 9602 for further information or to book a visit.
