Sunday 19 October 10:00am to 4:00pm Apple Day at Jeacock’s Orchard
An open orchard event at an historic First World War smallholding. Part of Tring’s own Apple Fayre to celebrate National Apple Day. Displays and demonstrations will include apple varieties and identification, apple pressing with fresh apple juice, bee keeping with local honey, spinning, weaving or basket making, livestock and practical conservation demonstrations, local groups’ displays such as moth trapping, Tring Farmers Market stalls, various charity stalls and music. Refreshments available. It is also advisable to wear stout footwear and waterproofs if the weather is wet and to bring money for refreshments and products sold by the tempting stalls!
The orchard event will be signposted in Cow lane, Tring and formal parking should be available opposite.
National Tree Week starts 26 November
