Online Disability Registration

A new online form is now available on Hertfordshire County Council’s website which allows adults to register their disability quickly and easily.

This service also covers adults with a sensory impairment who wish to register themselves as deaf or blind.

Adults with a disability who complete the online registration are entitled to a bus pass, a disabled rail card, a reduction on the cost of a fishing licence and reduced admission charges for many leisure activities including cinemas, concerts and leisure centres.

“It’s important that people register their disability. It provides us with essential information so that we can provide people with any additional support and advice they need,” said County Councillor Sally Newton, Executive Member for Adult Care and Health.

“We are constantly looking for ways to make life less complicated for people and filling out this online form couldn’t be faster or easier.”

If you are the parent of a child with a disability or additional needs you can also complete an online registration form. Medical examinations or opinions are not required for registration, only your views on the needs of your child.

If you are an adult and you want to register your disability online, or a parent wanting to register the disability or additional needs of your child, or you want further information about other online Hertfordshire County Council services, go to the links on the right hand side of this page.
