IT equipment

If you are looking for IT equipment, a range of products are available.

There are keyboards with larger keys and different key layouts, as well as various types of mice and pointing devices. Magnifying equipment is available to enlarge information from paper documents or on computer screens. Touch screens and braille printers are also available.

Adapt-IT is based in Hertfordshire and specialises in providing this kind of equipment. A display of some of the equipment they provide is available at the Terry Stevens Easier Living Centre at Hertfordshire Action on Disability.

Libraries in Hertfordshire also have accessible IT available, including screen reading software.
