Distance learning

If you have a disability or are a carer and find it difficult to attend a college, you may be able to study from home.

The National Extension College provides over 100 distance learning courses, ranging from basic skills to professional qualifications. If you have a disability or are a carer and on a low income you may benefit from the Equal Access to Open Learning Project, with reduced course fees and a personal mentor throughout your programme.

The Open University aims to be open to all people and can provide additional support for students with a disability.
