Physical therapies

There are different physical therapies which can help you to develop or regain some key activities such as movement, manual dexterity and speech.

Therapists work in hospitals and in the community. You may be referred for therapy as part of your treatment by your GP or social services; work with a therapist in a specialist centre or charity; or choose a therapist in a private practice.
