Patient Advice and Liaison Services (PALS)

Patient Advice and Liaison Services (PALS) were first set up in 2002 for each Primary Care Trust and in due course will be established in every major hospital. They provide information and advice about NHS services and gather feedback from patients, aiming to promote communication and understanding between patients and staff and address any potential problems.
