National Key Scheme for accessible toilets

The National Key Scheme offers people with disabilities independent access to over 6,000 public accessible toilets across the country. It provides a standard key for such toilets, ensuring that they are reserved specifically for those who need them.

There is a small charge made for keys, which can be purchased from RADAR who administer the scheme. Select the link called RADAR below for details of how to order a key. A guide book is also available. Keys can also be obtained from most district councils. Select the link called 'Obtaining RADAR keys locally' below.
