Living in your community
Information about facilities and services can help you to be fully involved in your community and beyond.Local access groups provide information on and promote the improvement of access to general facilities such as shops, banks, libraries and cinemas in their locality.
There may also be additional support to access facilities and services such as subtitled or signed theatre performances and Shopmobility schemes.
In some cases there is special provision, such as day centres and disability support groups, for people with disabilities.
