Public Law Outline - March 2008

The Public Law Outline comes into force on 1 April, bringing major changes to the requirements for care proceedings under Section 31 of the Children Act 1989. Broadly, these changes are designed to place more emphasis on a negotiated conclusion and to reduce the numbers of contested proceedings.

There are two workshops, one for managers and one for Social Care and Disabled Children Team social workers, details of the objects are in the flyers attached below.
