Mental Capacity Act - February 2008

At the end of the session the Learners will:

-Be aware of their role in implementing the Mental Capacity Act
-Be aware of their role in assessing the capacity of individuals within their care
-Be aware of their role as decision maker in terms of ‘Best Interests’.
-Be aware of the role of the IMCA and when they would be involved
