INTENDED AUDIENCE Staff who have contact with or work with deaf people of any age.

AIM To provide an awareness of issues that affect deaf people and suggest ways of supporting deaf people; to give a basic introduction to British Sign Language; to advise how to employ BSL interpreters for the deaf of the right level; to give a working knowledge of Community Support and Sensory Unit.
