Getting Married in a Hertfordshire Register Office

Hertfordshire has eight Register Offices with professional Registration Officers to advise you. Please pay them a visit and you can discuss your choices for your special day.

In all our offices it is now possible to hold a ceremony outside normal working hours including Saturday afternoons, Sundays and Bank Holidays. For this option contact the Superintendent Registrar who will advise you of the room hire charge and attendance fee.

As soon as you have decided on your chosen venue, contact the Superintendent Registrar to reserve the date and time for your marriage.

The Superintendent Registrar will advise you of the requirements for your formal notice of marriage.
