Set in 190 acres of gardens and parkland, Ashridge is majestically nestled in surrounding National Trust woodland. This spectacular country house has a rich history spanning over 700 years. Once a monastery for Benedictine monks, it became a residence for the children of King Henry VIII, and then passed into the hands of the dukes and earls of Bridgewater, finally to become the home of Ashridge business school.
Ashridge is an Approved Ceremony Venue
Ashridge has a number of magnificent function rooms which are licensed for civil wedding and partnership ceremonies, accommodating up to 110 guests. Each room boasts its own character and charm and all inter-connect, allowing you to choose how you would like to use each one to suit the individual style of your special day.
Canapes, wedding breakfast and evening buffet menus are all created by our award wining team of chefs. Minimum numbers are 70, but our exquisite function rooms can seat up to 130 guests on round tables, or 180 on rectangular tables. Additional evening guests are welcome and with 190 bedrooms available on site, all guests can happily dance the night away.
