Legal Aid

Legal aid is not normally avaliable for representation at an inquest, although a person eligible will be able to receive advice and support prior to the inquest. A solicitor offering legal aid will be able to advise as to eligibility. The Coroners' office cannot give legal advice in these circumstances.
