There are many reasons why you may have contacted the Hertfordshire Registration Service. For example to register a birth or a death, to order a copy of a certificate perhaps to give notice of marriage or partnership or to be a part of a ceremony.

You may have visited our website to find information, perhaps a venue for a wedding or the location of one of our Register Offices.

  3. Early morning appointments available.
  4. The provision of additional marriage rooms
  5. Marriages offered at Register Offices on Saturday afternoons and on Sundays
  6. The introduction of new services specifically Civil Naming, Re-affirmations, Change of Name and Civil Funerals
  7. The introduction of individual Citizenship Ceremonies
  8. The provision of hearing loops and air conditioning in the main marriage rooms
