Theatrix-Performing Arts (St Albans)
* Provides individual and group lessons in speech and drama for young people.
* Provides individual lessons in speech, drama and presentational skills for adults.
* Students are aged 5 years old to adult.
* Performs plays for the public.
* Holds Trinity - Guildhall exams and LAMDA examinations.
* Facilitates professional TV and film opportunities for young people.
* Organises theatre visits.
* Organises curriculum-based workshops for schools on Shakespeare and other theatre practitioners, workshops for GCSE and A Level, and workshops for special schools.
The Venue is the Abbey Theatre in St Albans and opening times are: Monday to Friday 4.00pm-7.00pm; Saturdays 9.00am-1.30pm.
Office hours are Monday-Friday 9.00am-5.00pm.
Publications: Theatrix brochure (free on application);
3 newsletters per year.
Disabled Facilities: Ramp access for wheelchairs and wide doors. No specific toilet facilities yet.
