Bigfoot Arts Education is the UK's leading drama-in-education specialist, working in over 200 schools a week across the country.

Bigfoot Drama Academy is for children aged between 7 and 11 years old. Each 10 week course runs three times during the school term. Kicking off with a free Fun Day where children and their parents are invited to experience, without obligation, what Bigfoot do.

Bigfoot use their very own "Organic Theatre" approach to inspire children, putting devising at the heart of all the work. Organic Theatre uses ideas and themes suggested by each child within the group. Through this devising process children create their own piece of theatre which is performed at the end of the ten week course to an invited audience of friends and family. Organic Theatre is a fresh, empowering alternative to the more traditional, rigid, hour long blocks of drama, song and dance. It incorporates movement and music as part of the creative process so that songs and dance are woven into the drama naturally under the guidance of our highly skilled, in-house, trained drama facilitators.

The benefits of the Drama Academy are:

* Opportunities to make new friends
* Improved communication and social skills
* A chance to develop new skills, hidden talents and encourage existing ones
* Gain new found confidence and self-esteem
* Expand imaginations and have lots of fun in a creative environment

Cost: £150.00 per term (if you would like try them out at one of their fun days, please contact them).
