National Association Of Youth Theatres

The flagship organisation for youth theatre practice in England, NAYT supports the development of youth theatre activity through training, advocacy and participation programmes.

NAYT is open to groups or individuals using theatre techniques in their work with young people outside formal education. NAYT plays a vital role in the advocacy and representation of youth theatre locally, nationally and internationally. NAYT is an educational charity and a company limited by guarantee.

NAYT is open to any group involving young people aged 14-24 in theatre, outside of formal education. It encourages the recognition and use of youth theatre models, which lead to an increase in the social and personal skills of their members.
