Watford Positive Futures

Positive Futures has put in place a range of free evening diversionary activities that aim to provide young people between the ages of 10 to 18 with opportunities for participation.

• Football (indoor 5-a-side for 14-18 year olds) on Mondays from 5.00pm to 6.00pm at Westfield Sports Centre, Tolpits Lane.
• Boxing (10-13 year olds)on Mondays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at Westfield Sports Centre, Tolpits Lane.
• Boxing (14-18 year olds) on Tuesdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at Westfield Sports Centre, Tolpits Lane.
• Basketball (10-18 year olds) on Wednesday 5.30pm to 7.30pm at King George's.
• Football coaching (14-18 year olds) on Wednesdays 6.30pm to 7.30pm at King George's.
• Street dance (10-18 year olds) on Thursdays from 5.30pm to 6.30pm at Westfield Sports Centre, Tolpits Lane.
• Football (indoor 5-a-side 10-13 year olds) on Thursdays from 7.00pm to 8.00pm at Westfield Sports Centre.
• Football (10-13 year olds) on Fridays from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at Westfield Sports Centre Astro, Tolpits Lane.
• Football (14-18 years old) on Fridays from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at King George's.

The diverse range of sessions aims to engage with local people in a local setting, promoting the benefits of leading a healthy lifestyle.

Opportunities and exit routes are fundemental and the project can offer:
* Inter-estate football fixtures against other Watford inclusion projects.
* Tickets to watch Watford FC.
* Inter-club fixtures against projects run by Arsenal, Chelsea, Fulham, Millwall and Brentford.
* Progression routes in Watford FC's CSE Trust Development Centres (boys and girls).
* Street dance performances on stage at local shows.
* Training, volunteering and possible employment opportunities.
* Accredited awards.

To get involved simply turn up at one of the sessions, see the coach and complete a consent form.
