The Youth Centre is based on a site of a Victorian school and was fully refurbished in 1997 following the award of a Lottery grant. The Centre is now fully accessible to wheelchair users.

The Hall is used for a large variety of local activities including playgroups, local football teams, an over-50's club, army cadets and car-boot sales.

The Centre has a sports field with pitches for football and five-a-side. There is also a concreted area which it is hoped will be converted to a basketball court in the near future. Changing room facilities are available.
