Swan Youth Centre (Berkhamsted)

Opening times:

* After School drop-in: 3.30pm to 6.00pm (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday).

* Acting Up Drama Group: 7.00pm to 8.30pm (Tuesdays)

* Youth Council meetings: 4.30pm to 6.00pm (Wednesdays once per month).

* Teen Clinic: 3.30pm-6.00pm (Thursdays)Free confidential advice and services.

* Year 8's Drop-in: 6.00pm to 8.30pm (Thursdays)

* Gig nights: 7.30pm to 10.30pm (Fridays once per month).

All drop-in sessions and the drama group are free but there is a charge for gig nights.

The Swan Youth Centre's main aim is the provision of a safe, drug free, alcohol free environment where young people, aged 12 to 18 years, can meet informally and participate in a variety of social educational programmes and activities which promote their spiritual, mental and physical wellbeing and enrich their lives. The Centre is equipped with a pool table, DJ booth, table football, Internet room, play station, Chill-out room and drumkit.

The Co-ordinator also works with the Berkhamsted Youth Town Council memebers to run exisiting and new initiatives for young people in Berkhamsted.
