Children and young people meet weekly for fun and friendship, learning to care for our world and each other.
The Woodcraft Folk is a national youth movement based on principles of co-operation and democracy, with concerns for the environment and peace. They cater for ages 6 to 15 years, plus a national fellowship for 16 to 21 year olds.
They aim at education for citizenship through the following activities: fellowship, fun and games, crafts, drama, rambles and camping.
The St Albans District meets on Thursday evenings:
* 6.00pm to 7.30pm for 6 to 9 year olds.
* 6.00pm to 7.30pm for 10 to 12 year olds.
* 7.30pm to 9.00pm for ages 13+.
Membership costs: £1.00 per week.
