This Edwardian villa was the home of George Bernard Shaw from 1906 until his death in 1950. The rooms remain much as he left them, with many literary and personal effects evoking his individuality and genius.
The garden has richly planted borders and views over the Hertfordshire countryside. There is a picnic area and special events are arranged throughout the season. A family activity pack is available.
School and adult groups are welcome by prior arrangement from Wednesday to Friday.

15th March-2nd November (every day except Mondays and Tuesdays, but open Bank Holiday Mondays and Good Friday):
