The SandPit Theatre is a multi-purpose performance venue which opened in December 2001. Based on the campus of Sandringham School the theatre serves St Albans and the surrounding area. The theatre seats up to 268 and the complex consists of a public foyer, box office and a cafe which is open for performances. There is wheelchair access to all public areas of the theatre.

The SandPit seeks to encourage and attract community performing arts groups as well as the wealth of school performances that are presented throughout the school year. Full details of forthcoming performances and our facilities can be found on our website. Tickets for performances are also available via the website.
