Set in the heart of London's Regents's Park, the Zoo boasts not only a vast array of animals but also, gardens and architecture.
Attractions include:
* Lions, tigers leopards;
* Gorillas, chimps and monkeys;
* Sloth bears;
* Giraffes, camels, okapi;
* Penguins, pelicans and parrots;
* Jellyfish, spiders and over 100 Species of invertebrate.
The Zoo is open everyday - except Christmas Day - from 10am.
London Zoo and ZSL Whipsnade Zoo are intergral parts of The Zoological Society of London (ZSL), a world-wide scientific, conservation and educational charity.
Directions: By Underground: Nearest station is Camden Town.
By Bus: Services run from Oxford Circus, Camden Town and Baker Street. Take the 274 or C2 to Gloucester Gate.
Car Parking: There is pay and display parking on the Outer Circle road in Regents Park near to the Zoo. The Zoo also has its own car park.
